The Gospel - Current News

The word Gospel means GOOD NEWS not a book. Where does one get the NEWS? News is current and that is why it is called NEWS. Christians do catch up with the good news that is being delivered here and now.

The current is here and the wave of good news is here. The word gospel also means "Glad Tidings" and this is the period of the gregorian year when people celebrate glad tidings.

I am smiling now because my Father was a newspaper man that delivered the news, he used to say that if you wish to learn the truth then read six newspapers and then read between the lines. One can say the same about scriptures; to truly understand them one must view more than one and then seek within them for the many layers of the messages that are held therein. It takes an inspired interpreter to truly understand them.

The above TV commercial is a great one especially with the theme song 'The FINAL COUNTDOWN" in the slide show provided by the child. We informed humanity in August 2009 that this is the final countdown and yes there is more good news coming.

The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and is armed with strength. The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved. Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity. The seas have lifted up, O LORD, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves. Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea— the LORD on high is mighty."Psalm 93

If you review the original word for LORD in Psalm 93, the Hebrew word for LORD in this text is YHWH = yud, hei, vav, hei.
